I began work in the wine industry in 2000 and my client list has expanded to include wineries such as Beaulieu Vineyard, Flora Springs, Luna Vineyards, Grgich Hills and many more. See list.

FINE ART:
For the last 18 years my fine art has taken a back seat to my Graphic Design...until now! Since May of 2012 I’ve been showing my art at the mARTinez Gallery, a co-op art gallery located in Martinez, CA. I am also the volunteer coordinator for Martinez Open Studios, which is a weekend of open artist studios and workspaces that takes place in May, sponsored by the Martinez Art Association.
At first I felt that in order to be taken as a “serious artist”, I had to paint serious subject matter – hence landscapes. I obviously have a hard time being serious, I mean who can take swirly clouds and pink mountains seriously.
I’m reverting to the way I used to draw as a kid – cramming as many anthropomorphized critters on a page, all in a kerfuffle. (My maps are in this style). My retro pet art is a reflection of this new found (long lost?) tongue-in-cheek style. I just want to make people smile!
I work in pastels, watercolor, and digital media.
SLAVE TO DOG AND CAT:
I’ll spare you the details and photos, but let it be said that I’ve been known to sautee grass fed beef with organic spinach, garlic and roasted sweet potatoes for my 16 year old dog when she won’t eat it raw!
HUSBAND: “Mmm! That smells good...is it for us or the dog?”
